A Humanist approach to weddings is very simple. It is a non-religious ceremony designed to be meaningful and inclusive for all, whatever your values or beliefs. I work closely with couples to learn about your love and your connection and this will help you to be relaxed and enjoy the day. It is worth pointing out that you do not have to be a Humanist to have a Humanist wedding.
I am part of the Humanist Ceremonies network and am fully insured and quality assured by Humanist UK.
Weddings
Fees for weddings start from £700 for 2024
Celebrants’ fees vary depending on what kind of ceremony you are having, the time of year and commitment of the celebrant and where you are in the country. Please feel free to contact me regarding overseas packages.
What does the fee include?
A planning meeting to discuss the ceremony in depth.
Drafting and editing a personal script.
Delivery of the ceremony on the day itself.
A presentation copy of the script for you to keep.

Just because " A Christening is always how its been done!" is being muttered in your ear - IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY! Personally I just don't think that babies are born into sin.
Humanist naming ceremonies allow non-religious or mixed-faith parents to welcome their child in a way that feels personal and relevant to the lives that they actually lead.

Funerals and Celebration of Life

Not everyone wants a religious funeral or cremation. There is more choice available to us now for end of life ceremonies. Celebrating life before the end lets everyone share in the love.Have you ever wished you knew what glowing things your friends and family would say about you at your funeral? You can — if you plan a living funeral.
There are green and eco funerals and a growing trend in direct cremations with a memorial or Life party afterwards.
